Responsibilities:
- Process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately store and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
- Assemble customer orders by picking items from inventory.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Comply with all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any operational issues or damages to supervisors.
- Contribute to inventory accuracy through diligent work practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting and carrying of items up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety standards.
- Must be able to wear and use required PPE, such as safety vests and steel-toed footwear.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good communication skills.
