Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic Picker/Packer to join our dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders, playing a key part in our logistics and distribution process. Your duties will include picking items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. Accuracy, speed, and attention to detail are paramount to ensure customer satisfaction. You will operate safely within the warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and utilizing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from inventory based on order sheets or system prompts.
  • Inspect picked items for any defects or damage.
  • Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
  • Label packages accurately for shipment.
  • Prepare orders for shipping carriers.
  • Maintain productivity targets while ensuring accuracy.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operation.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous picking and packing experience is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Willingness to follow safety procedures and use PPE.
