About
We are looking for dependable and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join our busy facility in Detroit, Michigan. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of essential tasks that keep our warehouse running smoothly. Your duties will include receiving and inspecting goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. This position is a key component of our overall Logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and be committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will be trained on proper handling techniques, equipment operation, and the mandatory use of PPE . This role requires consistent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and regular Lifting of packages, typically up to 50 lbs. We value teamwork and a positive attitude. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging pallets.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts - with appropriate certification).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and frequent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE .
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
