We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic team in New York City, New York. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Manage lifting of packages up to 50 lbs consistently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to lifting guidelines.
