Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against documentation.
- Sort and store inventory in designated areas, maintaining order and accessibility.
- Pick customer orders using hand-held scanners or pick lists with a high degree of accuracy.
- Pack items securely for shipping, using appropriate materials to prevent damage.
- Stage orders for outgoing delivery, ensuring correct labeling and carrier readiness.
- Perform routine inventory checks and assist with cycle counting procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations and protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Willingness and ability to perform lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and the importance of logistics efficiency.
- A strong focus on safety and adherence to all safety guidelines.
- Must be willing to wear appropriate PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
