About
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations at our busy Raleigh, North Carolina facility. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of productivity and **safety**. You will play a crucial role in **logistics** coordination, inventory management, and the overall success of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and enforce **safety** protocols and procedures to create a secure working environment.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy of stock.
- Oversee the **Logistics** of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively (certification may be required).
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, performance, and **safety** updates.
- Ensure all team members are equipped with and utilize appropriate **PPE**.
- Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage daily **Lifting** and movement of goods, ensuring adherence to weight limits and proper handling techniques.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse **logistics** and inventory management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of **safety** regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform moderate to heavy **Lifting**.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Must be able to wear required **PPE**, including steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
