We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. Your responsibilities will include picking, packing, loading, and unloading shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and performing general warehouse duties. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and security.
- Properly utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
