We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This leadership role is integral to the efficient management of our warehouse operations and overall logistics strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, guiding a team of warehouse associates, ensuring productivity targets are met, and maintaining the highest standards of Safety and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics. You must be able to motivate your team, manage resources effectively, and foster a positive and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team.
- Assign tasks, provide training, and monitor performance of warehouse associates.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce company policies, including all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through proper controls.
- Optimize workflow and space utilization within the warehouse.
- Oversee the proper use of equipment and ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, safety concerns, and operational updates.
- Monitor and manage staff schedules, including overtime.
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of workplace Safety, including proper use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure workplace Safety and implement Safety protocols effectively.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including occasional Lifting.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing business needs.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and productive team environment.
