About
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of materials within our distribution center, contributing directly to our overall logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping materials efficiently and accurately. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to a positive team atmosphere. You will be working closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily operational goals. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Inspect materials for damage and ensure proper documentation.
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to shipping manifests.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks for delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activity, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
