Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Pick products accurately based on order requirements.
- Pack and prepare items for shipment, ensuring they are securely packaged.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, following all safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, following all training.
- Use appropriate PPE at all times to ensure personal safety.
- Support overall logistics operations by ensuring materials are readily available and correctly positioned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and using PPE correctly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new warehouse procedures.
- Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain principles is a plus.
