About
We are building Verified Inbox, a Gmail-first email client that sits as a modern layer on top of Gmail's infrastructure.
Verified uses Gmail as the backend (Google OAuth plus Gmail API plus labels) and introduces a powerful new feature: a Requests queue where unknown senders must complete a simple token verification challenge before reaching the user's inbox.
This is a real product, not a prototype. We are starting with a Beta V1 build that will be used internally and by early testers.
We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer who can own the build end-to-end.

Must-Not-Slip Requirements
These are non-negotiable:
No missing or duplicated threads
Replies must always thread correctly
Approve routes future mail correctly
Block is immediate, one-click, with Undo
Token challenges are rate-limited and not spammy
UI always reconciles with Gmail truth after refresh
Trust is more important than extra features.
