Game Developer Needed – Squid Math Zuma (Educational Arcade Game)
Description:
I am looking for an experienced game developer to create an educational arcade-style game called Squid Math Zuma, inspired by the classic Zuma game with a math-based twist.
The goal of the game is to help players improve their math skills while enjoying fast-paced and engaging gameplay.
Game Overview:
A chain of balls moves along a winding path toward an end hole.
The player controls a shooter that fires balls at the moving chain.
If the chain reaches the hole, the game ends.
Each ball represents a number (1–10), and the shooter fires balls displaying math operations (e.g., The player must solve the operation and shoot the ball that matches the correct number.
Math Rules:
Allowed operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
All results must be whole numbers between 1 and 10
Game Features:
Multiple levels with increasing difficulty
Increasing chain speed at higher levels
Gradual introduction of harder math operations
Special power-up balls (slow down, reverse, bomb)
Scoring system with combo bonuses
Win and lose conditions
In-game notifications (level start, level complete, score updates)
Popup rating bar prompting users to rate the app
Requirements:
Experience with arcade or puzzle game development
Familiarity with Zuma-style mechanics
Ability to integrate math logic into gameplay
Clean and maintainable code
Experience with Unity, Godot, or similar game engines
Deliverables:
Fully playable game
Source code
Basic UI, sound effects, and animations
Notification system
App rating popup implementation
