About

We are seeking an experienced Wordpress developer to provide ongoing, as-needed maintenance to a large and long-lived WP site. Though the site is currently on hiatus, we want it to remain healthy and secure as long as possible with the current template, for readers to be able to access its vast archive. The ideal candidate would be available to perform updates, alert us to any concerns and advise solutions, and be available to troubleshoot occasional issues. You should have a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Required skills include
1. Wordpress themes and custom Wordpress sites
2. HTML and CSS
3. Widgets and software commonly used with Wordpress
Time Zone
Should be within an hour of Eastern Standard Time.
Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 30 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: WordPress, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, Web Development
