The United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join its team as Customs and Border Protection Officers.

CBP officers play a critical role in safeguarding the nation’s borders, enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws, while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. They are responsible for conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances to ensure compliance with regulations.

• Law Enforcement Experience: A minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes detaining suspected violators of federal, state or local laws; arresting violators using proper law enforcement methods; enforcing customs laws; utilizing intelligence techniques for identifying potential threats; conducting interviews in law enforcement capacity for gaining information from suspected violators.
