Border Patrol Agent (Entry Level)

This position involves working in a dynamic and challenging environment where agents are responsible for enforcing U.S. immigration laws, preventing illegal entry of noncitizens into the United States, and protecting national security.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher OR one full year of graduate-level education in a field related to law enforcement such as criminal justice, homeland security, justice studies, law enforcement, courts and judicial systems, forensic technology, forensic psychology or corrections/rehabilitation
• An ability to learn regulations methods techniques through classroom training AND/OR on-the-job instruction; AND gather concise information through questioning observation examination records;
  - An age requirement - applicants must be referred for selection before reaching their 40th birthday;
