Job Description:
We are seeking a Network Engineer to support and operate enterprise firewall and load balancer environments. The role involves day-to-day management of Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls and F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers, ensuring stable, secure, and SLA-driven service delivery
Responsibilities: • Operate and support Palo Alto Firewalls and F5 BIG-IP (LTM) • Implement firewall and load balancer changes (security policies, NAT, VIPs, pools, SSL profiles) • Perform monitoring, health checks, and capacity tracking • Troubleshoot firewall, routing, NAT, and traffic flow issues • Participating in incident, change, and problem management processes • Perform firewall and F5 software upgrades, backups, and failover activities • Work closely with L3 teams, SOC, and customers for issue resolution • Maintain operational documentation and runbooks • Participating in 24x7 support and on-call rotations
Requirements / Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) • 3-6 years of Network Engineer experience • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, NAT, and network security concepts • Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, change, and problem management processes • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and security policies • Good communication and documentation skills
Certifications: • CCNA & CCNP • PCNSA, F5-CA, or ITIL Foundation
