Job Overview

The role of a Border Patrol Agent (BPA) is to secure the borders and prevent illegal activity.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.


• Pursuing and apprehending aliens and smugglers at or near the border.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data collection from various sources to identify potential threats.
• Maintaining thorough records of interactions with migrants. Analyzing data for trends that may indicate increased criminal activity. Identifying opportunities to improve procedures through continuous improvement methods such as kaizen . Additionally performing routine foot patrols around sectors assigned as prescribed by federal regulations.
