Job Description

The role of Border Patrol Agent (BPA) requires individuals with exceptional skills and qualifications. As a BPA, you will be responsible for safeguarding the nation's borders, preventing illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity.

Typical assignments include detecting and questioning suspects, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations. You will also be required to prevent and apprehend aliens and smugglers at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions.
