We're Hiring
The Process Engineer is responsible for designing and developing new manufacturing plant processes and equipment, as well as optimizing and modifying existing systems. This role provides innovative solutions to technical challenges and drives continuous improvement in production and manufacturing operations. The Process Engineer ensures the successful delivery of compliant instrumentation, control systems, and business processes aligned with financial, regulatory (e.g., cGMP, GAMP), and operational standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical support for existing production systems; Analyze repairs and maintenance requirements to proactively address system weaknesses and enhance corrective action plans. 
  • Troubleshoot and correct problems with production equipment and instrumentation systems.
  • Develop documentation for new processes and existing processes to ensure appropriate training and knowledge transfer systems are maintained. 
  • Lead, conduct and participate in root cause analysis and other process troubleshooting activities to support productivity improvements in operations. 
  • Lead and manage process projects from capital planning to implementation. 
  • Manage vendors and consultants to ensure that contracts contain appropriate technical specifications are delivered as required.
  • Stay current on developments in the field of chemical process technology.
  • Participate on cross-functional teams, who address specific problems, facilitate discussion and research.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical, beverage, and food industries, including a minimum of 4 years focused on manufacturing or development process control and instrument engineering within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field (required)
  • Prior experience in a cGMP-regulated industry, with strong knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
  • Proven experience leading the design, start-up, troubleshooting, and validation of process equipment
