Casper Canada is a leading sleep company that was initially launched in the US in 2014 with one perfect mattress that was sold directly to consumers. Its line of obsessively engineered sleep products has expanded to include sheets, pillows, bed frames, and even a dog bed. In 2023, Casper Canada joined Sleep Country Canada's family of brands. 

We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to support our e-commerce and retail marketing initiatives, with a strong focus on social media. Reporting to the Senior Content Marketing Manager, this role is ideal for a digitally savvy, adaptable, and curious team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you'll help create and manage content across key social media channels, track and analyze performance, and stay up-to-date on industry trends. You'll also support other initiatives such as UGC content production, product launches, and influencer marketing. What you'll do

  • Support execution of social media strategy with a focus on key social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest.
  • Assist with UGC and influencer marketing content production in partnership with the digital marketing team across organic and paid channels. 
  • Support community management by monitoring social platforms and paid ads via comments and DMs, and share back insights to CX, marketing, and product teams.  
  • Conduct daily & weekly monitoring across channels to ensure brand consistency and information accuracy.
  • Share weekly trend reports to stay on top of content trends and bring fresh, innovative ideas that align with the evolving digital landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PR, creative, product, retail) to support marketing initiatives that reflect our brand's values and objectives
  • Contribute to the creative planning and promotional process by actively participating in campaign ideation and research, and assisting with marketing briefs. 

Who you are

  • Must have University/College degree in Marketing, PR, Communications or a related field
  • Must have 1-2 years of experience in content marketing or social media marketing
  • Comfortable creating content both on and off camera. UGC/content development experience is an asset
  • Familiar with content creation and editing tools such as CapCut and Canva
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communicator written and verbal, and who proactively shares updates and communicates clearly with stakeholders
  • Data-driven, with the ability to extract insights and learnings from monthly performance reports
  • Understanding of e-commerce and the digital marketing landscape
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and working cross-functionally

Additional Information

This is a current open position.  The salary range for this position is $53,000 - $65,000 annually.  Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
