You would be working with me to create occasional reaction videos to local TV ads.
I need someone who it super dialed in to what is working / gets engagement on the major platforms.
Ideally, you would be able to create the avatar animation + speech. However, if you don't have that skillset, I may be able to get someone else for that portion. The more important aspect is that you should be able to craft a compelling message that gets views and craft the actual video posts.
-- Must-have skills --
Creates high-retention short-form reaction videos (hooks, pacing, punch-ins, captions, pattern interrupts)
Strong editing for Shorts/Reels/TikTok (CapCut/Premiere/Resolve): subtitles, zooms, meme timing, SFX, b-roll, quick cuts
Writes reaction scripts that are funny/insightful without being mean (tight setup → reaction beats → payoff → CTA)
Builds repeatable workflows: daily/weekly batching, templates, posting cadence, content calendar
Repurposes one concept into platform-native variants (aspect ratio, caption style, length, hook swaps, title/hashtags)
-- Local-ad specific skills --
Can source local ads reliably (Facebook Ad Library, YouTube pre-rolls, local TV/radio web uploads, IG/FB, landing pages)
Understands local-market nuance: regional references, business categories, "what locals care about," tone matching
Can react in a way that's brand-safe and avoids unnecessary drama: critique "the ad" not "the owner"
Strong instinct for what makes an ad "reactable": bad hooks, weird scripts, overpromises, awkward acting, great offers, etc.
-- (Would be Nice) AI influencer / virtual persona video creation --
Experience building an AI/virtual on-camera character with consistent face, voice, mannerisms and tone
Ability to create and maintain a Persona Bible (voice/tone rules, humor boundaries, phrases, opinions, "do/don't say")
Comfortable evaluating and choosing tools for: AI voice, avatar/face animation, lip sync, talking head pipeline
Prompting + script generation skills to keep content consistent "in character" across dozens of videos
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 30 hours per week.
