A position is currently open for a motivated Production Controller to join our dynamic Logistics team. The candidate will report directly to the Logistics Supervisor and will be responsible to work directly with the manufacturing lines in Enfield, NS in their logistics functions including WIP and inventory management, and customer deliveries.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with somewhat flexible hours, based in Enfield, Nova Scotia, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will you day look like?

  • Analyze priorities for scheduling purposes
  • Plan production scheduling based on machine capacity and priorities.
  • Track and prioritize quality notifications
  • Monitor production parts and the progress of priority parts. Route parts to the right customer (engine center, aftermarket, experimental, NGPF)
  • Follow up on the delivery of parts and communicate with our internal and external customers
  • Initiate and support continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure emergency management according to customer requirements
  • Collaborate and communicate closely with industrial engineering, production, quality, procurement and customer service teams
  • Effectively communicate and summarize risks to different stakeholders

What do you need to be successful?

  • Degree or diploma in relevant field with 1-3 years of experience, or 10 or more years' experience in aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Strong with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, and strong in data manipulation and analysis
  • Ability to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency and timeliness
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • Autonomous and resourceful, and able to propose proactive solutions
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or Power BI is an asset
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
