Senior Manager, Client Partner – Public Sector

About the RoleAs a Senior Manager, Client Partner serving DXC's Public Sector clients in Québec, you will act as the strategic leader for designated government accounts. You will own the client relationship at the executive level, define and execute long‑term growth strategies, oversee delivery excellence, and ensure DXC's solutions drive meaningful value and modernization outcomes for public sector organizations.
Essential Job Functions Client & Account Leadership- Lead the creation and execution of multi‑year strategic account plans tailored to public sector needs.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for customer satisfaction, account performance, and delivery outcomes.
- Position DXC as a strategic advisor supporting digital transformation, cyber resilience, infrastructure modernization, and citizen‑service improvements.
- Own and achieve revenue, margin, and profitability targets for assigned accounts.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with public sector priorities.
- Use competitive and market analysis to shape strategy and influence solution direction.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in sales, delivery, and client engagement processes.
- Work closely with delivery, technology, solutioning, and offering teams to ensure integrated, high‑quality execution.
- Coordinate internal teams to bring the full strength of DXC's capabilities to public sector clients.
- Partner with marketing, product, and support teams to align customer needs with DXC's service portfolio.
- Manage risks, compliance obligations, contracts, and escalations across assigned accounts.
- Ensure adherence to provincial public sector requirements, including procurement processes, cybersecurity expectations, and operating frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 12+ years of relevant industry experience, including 4+ years in a senior client‑facing or account leadership role.
- Demonstrated success managing large, complex IT accounts, ideally within a government or public sector environment.
- Strong skills in sales strategy, relationship management, financial oversight, and market analysis.
- Established track record in sales and sales enablement.
- Demonstrated ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPA, MIS) is an asset.
- Professional certifications such as CSP or CSEP are beneficial.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/French) strongly preferred for effective engagement across Québec government bodies.
- Knowledge of Québec public sector policies, procurement practices, and regulatory frameworks.
