5+ years' experience with AWS services:
Networking: VPC / Subnets / Route Tables / VPG / Security Groups Compute: EC2 / Autoscaling / Load Balancers Database: RDS / Aurora / Dynamo Kubernetes: EKS / ECR Other: SQS / SNS / S3 / IAM / CloudFront / CloudWatch
Ability to run and modify Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts in Terraform or CloudFormation Knowledge debugging containers running in a Kubernetes cluster. Linux system administration - ability to manage and troubleshoot Linux systems and services. Managing application running in AWS. Work with app team to identify defect, root cause, pipeline to deploy fix Linux networking experience GIT and Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline Desired:
Monitoring Applications: Splunk, Dynatrace Pulsar experience Postgres experience Nginx: basic understanding of Nginx configurations and reverse proxies Networking: solid understanding of routing and networking concepts Agile development environment Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery - Jenkins deployments and pipelines Collaboration platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, Wiki, ServiceNow Containerization technologies such as Docker, Pivotal Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet Education
Bachelor's degree required; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
