Summer 2026 Data Analyst Intern Camping World is excited to announce an opportunity for a
Data Analyst Intern
to join our
BI Strategy Team
for the
Summer 2026 . In this role, you will support day-to-day analytics and reporting, enhance dashboard quality and performance, and transform large datasets into actionable insights that influence business decisions. Additionally, you will gain light, research-oriented exposure to AI, assisting the team in exploring practical applications of modern LLM tools to enhance analytics, automation, and internal workflows. This internship is a great fit for individuals who are
motivated, meticulous, eager to learn , and passionate about developing hands-on skills in
data modeling, visualization, SQL/Python , and solving real business challenges. Location & Schedule Hybrid (3 days in-office / 2 days remote)
in
Chicago (or Lincolnshire) 10-week program starting June 2026
( June 1 - August 7 ) Key Responsibilities Utilize programming and analytics tools to
organize, clean, and analyze data Perform
quality assurance
on existing dashboards, reports, and tools Engage in
small data engineering tasks
using
SQL and Python Conduct
data analysis to validate hypotheses
through analytics and visualization Develop
Power BI dashboards and reports
to monitor performance and drive insights Automate repetitive tasks
to enhance team efficiency Break down extensive datasets into
concise, impactful insights Identify trends, challenges, and opportunities across the
RV, retail, and digital sectors Collaborate with the team through regular check-ins on progress and ideas Applied AI Research (Secondary Exposure) Assist in
researching and assessing AI tools and frameworks
(e.g., LLM platforms and orchestration tools) Support
prompt testing, documentation, and basic prototyping
for internal applications (e.g., automation, knowledge support, data workflows) Contribute to experiments aimed at improving
reliability, accuracy, and utility
of AI-enabled workflows Qualifications Pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in
Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics , or a related field Graduation date between
December 2025 - July 2027 Ability to work
hybrid in Chicago/Lincolnshire
for the entirety of the internship (no relocation or housing stipend provided) Minimum
3.0 GPA Familiarity with
Microsoft Office
(Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) Preferable experience with
SQL
and
data visualization tools
(Power BI preferred) Strong
troubleshooting, data interpretation, and technical
skills Basic knowledge of
information technology fundamentals
(databases, system security concepts, troubleshooting) Demonstrated
analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail Excellent
written and verbal communication , research, and note-taking abilities Capacity to
multitask
and excel in a
fast-paced, high-growth
environment Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain
strict confidentiality Preferred Skills (AI Exposure) Interest in AI/LLMs and a willingness to learn about prompting, basic RAG concepts, and evaluation/testing Comfortable writing clean, organized code in
Python
(or familiarity with JavaScript) Program Requirement Engage in a
Capstone Internship Project , culminating in a
