In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding the nation's borders while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

• You will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations to prevent the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods into the United States.
  
• Your duties may include conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances to determine admissibility for entry into the country. You must make rapid judgments with respect to regulating importing/exporting merchandise or enforcing laws related to entering/residing/departing from US territories.

Candidates selected for this position undergo comprehensive training at CBP Field Operations Academy. Training covers various skills such as basic law enforcement techniques, firearms handling, physical fitness testing, examination of cargo/bags/merchandise & other essential competencies required in fulfilling job responsibilities efficiently.
