This role requires expertise in operating specialized equipment, ensuring radiation safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards, all while prioritizing effective patient communication and safety. The Advanced Nuclear Medicine Technologist position also requires a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.Position Details:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine and required clinical hours have been completed.

Experience: One (1) years of relevant experience.

Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Certification/Registration: NMTCB or ARRT (N); Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Through knowledge and understanding of biohazard safety and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of proper radiation safety by following ALARA standards
  • Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
  • Thorough understanding of protocols and ability to make adjustments as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements:

•    Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

•    Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.

•    Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
