Your Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy innovative software solutions. Conduct feasibility analyses and develop problem definitions and requirements. Document and illustrate solutions through clear coding practices and visual aids like flowcharts and diagrams. Install solutions by determining system specifications and standards. Enhance operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending procedural improvements. Collaborate with users to understand their information needs and workflow for effective software solutions. Adhere to the software development lifecycle to deliver high-quality products. Utilize Agile Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies for efficient development. Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure). Work with various database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Oracle to support software solutions. Focus on user experience and compliance with Section 508 accessibility requirements in software design. Required Qualifications: Ability to successfully complete an FAA background investigation and obtain a positive suitability determination. Demonstrated experience in software design, development, testing, and deployment. Strong foundation in systems analysis and requirements development. Proficient in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, and SQL. Familiar with modern software development methodologies, especially Agile Scrum and Scaled Agile. Knowledge of cloud and database solutions is essential. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident who has lived in the U.S. for 3+ years. Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.
