Team Overview: The Developer Experience (DevX) team focuses on ensuring all Coinbase engineers can develop high-quality products efficiently and engage deeply. We provide the necessary infrastructure, libraries, frameworks, and tools to facilitate the rapid creation of superior applications. Your Responsibilities: Take ownership of the frontend experience of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), our comprehensive Developer Hub.
Design and maintain React components and pages integrating with crucial Infrastructure products, including release pipelines, configuration management systems, and service documentation.
Work collaboratively with backend engineers, designers, and API publishers to streamline workflows that support teams in publishing, discovering, and evaluating APIs.
Enhance the quality and usability of internal tools used daily by hundreds of engineers.
Focus on improving the accessibility, performance, and reliability of the IDP UI.
Collaborate with Staff Engineers, Product Managers, and Product Designers to shape product roadmaps and prioritize UX initiatives.
Contribute to the broader design system and internal frontend libraries at Coinbase.
What We Are Looking For: A minimum of 2 years of experience developing modern, data-rich web applications using React or similar frameworks.
Proven ability to develop and deliver user-facing features with component-based UI frameworks.
Solid understanding of contemporary trends and practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security, and usability.
Experience working closely with designers, engineers, and product managers throughout the product lifecycle.
Commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience launching new products from inception to launch.
A record of working through rapid company growth, from startup to mid-size.
Experience on front-end teams within the finance or platform services sectors.
At least 1 year of experience in developing React applications.
Familiarity with Golang, GraphQL, Docker, and NoSQL Databases.
Job #: GPFE05US Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position ranges from $180,625 to $212,000 USD. Full-time offers also include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
