How You'll Make An Impact
The Application Support Analyst - Wealth Management supports the delivery and daily operations of integrated technology solutions for Fidelity Wealth and Private Wealth businesses. This position bears both technical analysis and operational responsibilities and understands how technology supports key business processes.
This role is accountable for supporting specialized vendor applications, system integrations, resolving incidents, and ensuring vendor and support documentation is maintained. The Analyst collaborates closely with IS teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and successful delivery of technology services.
What You Will Do
Solution Delivery Support
Assist in defining and documenting application-specific requirements by translating business needs into technical language and functional expectations. Provide input to system architects and technology leads for solution design decisions.
Support data mapping analysis and interface design for in-house and vendor system integrations
Participate in system functional, integration and regression testing. Assist in developing test cases and validating defect fixes in coordination with QA and technical teams.
Support production release coordination and post-deployment validations in production.
2. Application and Technical Incidents Support
Support business users during incidents and maintain communication channels and protocols.
Gather and validate necessary details to open vendor support tickets, triage vendor application issues with Fidelity IS shared services and escalate issues where needed.
Document root causes and resolutions for recurring problems
Knowledge Management and Process Documentation
Act as a key SME to organize a structured Confluence space to consolidate technology stack documentation with underlying business workflows and other supporting and reference information.
Support Data Governance efforts. Keep timely and accurate record of integrations and processes that involve client PII data.
Support internal process documentation and playbooks.
Contribute to departmental process updates, knowledge articles, best practices and SOPs for incident handling, feed failures and system recovery playbooks / steps.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Economics or Mathematics or equivalent working experience
3-5 years of experience in IT support, operations or solutions delivery.
Technology vendor management is a plus.
Strong knowledge of Wealth Management operations.
Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal and diplomatic skills required to communicate with senior management across the organization
Familiarity with basic SQL, APIs, batch processes and IS ticketing systems and processes.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

For this role, your total rewards include
Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus A competitive annual range of $85,000 to $118,000 based on your experience and qualifications.
