Hardlink is looking to fill the position of IT Operations Analyst on our client-facing IT Operations team. You will be the face of Hardlink IT and represent our values and the value we bring to the client. This role will be pivotal in supporting project delivery, ongoing IT operations, and general IT support.
The Role
You will be the primary technical support resource for a limited number of enterprise clients. Establishing a relationship and good rapport with clients will define success in this role. Key responsibilities will be ticket triage and resolution, infrastructure monitoring, and working alongside a talented group to grow your knowledge, resolve escalations and provide a great client experience.
You will be joining a new and growing team and will play a pivotal role in shaping its future. This role will be supported by senior IT leadership and project management, who will also provide technical and career development mentorship.
This role will focus on providing support of day-to-day desktop, email, instant messaging, and telephony, in addition to user on/offboarding, software deployment, updates, patching, etc. Additional responsibilities include change management, permissions management, Teams platform management.
This full-time position is a hybrid role which will require at least 3 in-office days per week at our office downtown Vancouver. Occasional travel within North America may be required, although infrequent (0-3 times per year).
Key Responsibilities
Deliver Tier 1 / Tier 2 technical solutions ensuring a world-class user experience.
Provide efficient, reliable, and secure IT operations support for our clients.
Provide guidance, and basic process training for client staff.
Contribute to IT project design, delivery, and maintenance.
Documentation and process standardization/optimization.
Collaborate with teammates to provide support when needed and ask for help when you do – IT Operations is a team sport.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of five (5) years in an IT support role.
Proficient with ticket management systems, helpdesk management, remote support tools, and documentation/knowledgebase tools.
Understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
Proficiency with document creation, including user documentation, handover documentation.
Experience with Microsoft Azure/365 identity services.
Personable, articulate, and clear communication – both written and spoken.

Additional Assets
Related field experience (mining, industrial, manufacturing).
Bachelor's degree or certificate/diploma in a related field.
Technology certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, Fortinet, ITIL, A+, etc.).
Experience with at least one of either Fortinet or Cisco network equipment (bare metal configuration, cloud management, VLAN/port assignment, etc.).
Experience working in ITIL and regulatory compliant environments.
Experience supporting on-prem infrastructure (Active Directory, Exchange, file storage, tape backup, etc.).
Scripting, automation, and API integration.
Linux/BSD competency.
Fluency in Spanish or French.
