As an EIT in Municipal Engineering, you'll join our collaborative Summerside, PEI team to help shape the infrastructure that supports thriving and resilient communities. From water and wastewater systems to transportation and land development, you'll contribute to meaningful work that directly impacts how people live, move, and connect.
Your Impact
- Support the design of municipal infrastructure, including water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway systems.
- Contribute to construction administration activities, including site reviews, field observations, and contractor coordination.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates that inform design decisions.
- Assist with hydrologic and hydraulic modelling and other design analyses under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support project documentation, including reports, memos, and as‑built records.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, senior engineers, and multidisciplinary specialists to deliver high‑quality client outcomes.
- Apply engineering judgment to solve real‑world design and construction challenges.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- You have a degree in civil engineering and are registered or eligible to register as an EIT.
- You bring curiosity, initiative, and a desire to grow in municipal engineering.
- You enjoy a mix of office design work and field exposure and feel confident navigating construction environments.
- You're familiar with tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, modelling software, and the MS Office suite.
- You thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams and value contributing to community‑shaping projects.

Compensation:
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 – $88,400
- MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $60,300 – $80,000
