EverLine Coatings and Services Sudbury (established 2018) is seeking an organized problem-solver to join our team as our bookkeeper. Our ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience with full-charge bookkeeping, in the construction or related industries.
They will help our team ensure budgets, timelines, and job costs are accurate and oversee all financial transactions for the company, including accounts payable and receivables, and bank reconciliations.
Core Competencies
  • Oversee all financial transactions, such as credit card and bank reconciliations, and manage the accounts payables and accounts receivables process
  • Work with the CEO and General Manager to provide detailed financial reporting to ensure costs, timeline, and budget of  projects are accurately accounted for.
  • Perform data entry to ensure all financial data is input into our accounting software
  • Update and maintain accurate financial records, contracts, annual budgets, tax reports, and financial statements
  • Process invoices, checks, and payroll accurately and on time and resolve any invoice or collection issues.
  • Safeguard the accuracy of the general ledger and journal entries, prepare balance sheets, and financial reports
We are open to options for the the right candidate regarding overall scope of the position. This may suit a hybrid role of both part time and full time. If you're an experienced bookkeeper, with a great work ethic, excellent communication skills, and experience with accounting software. Qualifications (additional)
• Fluency in both English and French is considered an asset
• Post-secondary education in accounting, business, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Familiarity with accounting software and procurement portals
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
