Full-Stack Developer Needed to design and develop energy market based investment guidance portal for web depolyment
** PROJECT OVERVIEW
I am building a market insights platform and need an experienced full-stack developer to design and develop an interactive web-based dashboard.
The tool will help users understand how energy price movements (oil, gas, electricity, coal) impact different stock market sectors and investment portfolios.
** FEATURES TO DEVELOP
1. Energy Market Trend Panel
Visual display of price trends for: Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Coal or Electricity Index
(Simple charts using API data or mock data in Phase 1)
2. Sector Sensitivity Heatmap through Realtime APIs
A visual, color-coded table showing how sectors react to rising energy prices.
3. Impact on sectors due to Energy rate fluctuations , geopolitical tension or energy policy
The dashboard dynamically displays:
Likely beneficiary sectors
Potentially impacted sectors
4. Portfolio Energy Exposure Tool
Users select the firms they are invested in.
System calculates overall exposure to energy price risk .
**TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Frontend
(preferred) or
Modern financial dashboard UI
Responsive design (desktop + mobile)
Backend
/ Python (Django or Flask) / Laravel (open to recommendation)
Admin panel to:
Edit sector sensitivity data
Update scenario rules
Manage dashboard text/content
Database
MySQL or PostgreSQL
Deployment
Code must be deployable on VPS or standard hosting
Clean source code required in build folder in GitHUB
** DESIGN EXPECTATIONS
Clean cards, charts, heatmaps, and indicators
Color-coded impact visualization (green/red/yellow)
Simple, intuitive layout for retail investors
