- This position involves working as a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer, ensuring the safety and security of America by safeguarding its borders.
The role requires enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for facilitating legitimate trade and travel while preventing illicit activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws to maintain national security
- Inspecting individuals, conveyances, cargo, bags or merchandise at ports of entry to prevent smuggling of prohibited goods or drugs
- Determining admissibility of individuals entering the United States in compliance with U.S. law
