This position involves serving as a Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO). You will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. Your primary duty locations include U.S. ports of entry.
Detailed Job Description: This is an exciting opportunity to join the CBP workforce as a law enforcement officer where you can contribute your skills in securing America's borders.
Main duties involve facilitating legitimate trade while preventing illegal activities such as human trafficking or drug smuggling by carrying out inspections at border checkpoints.
Your work entails developing strong judgment when assessing risk factors with intelligence techniques to identify potential threats while collaborating closely with colleagues from various agencies on intelligence gathering missions regarding contraband violations.
The daily task load may vary due to frequent shifts between patrol operations including uniformed checkpoints traffic management processes among other responsibilities assigned based upon mission goals & priorities set forth during briefing sessions held regularly throughout each week so that everyone stays informed about their specific roles within teams formed across departmental levels which promote teamwork synergy enhancing overall organizational performance one step further towards achieving our main objectives protecting national security! ,
