The Job Description:

• Evaluate travelers and cargo to determine compliance with customs laws and regulations;


• CARRY OUT DETAINMENTS OF SUSPECTED VIOLATORS AND MAKE ARRESTS WHEN NECESSARY;


• Enforce agricultural import restrictions by inspecting plants and animals arriving at U.S. ports of entry;
  ​​PATRIOlL WITH OTHER AGENCIES TO ENFORCE LAWS RELEATING TO BORDER SECURITY;


• Determine admissibility of individuals attempting to enter or leave the country;
  ​​EVALUATE RISK LEVELS ASSOCIATED WITH CARGO AND TRAVELERS FOR NATIONAL SECURITY PURPOSES.
