Border Protection Specialist

Seeking a dynamic and ambitious Customs Officer to join our team of dedicated professionals in the enforcement and facilitation of customs, immigration, and agriculture laws. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and demonstrate strong analytical abilities.

• We are seeking individuals who can enforce customs laws and regulations while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
• Candidates must conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances as required by law.
• The position involves determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.

The selected individual will be responsible for preventing illegal entry of people or goods into the country. This includes seizing contraband items such as drugs or other prohibited items. Additionally,the officer may need to make arrests based on their findings during an inspection.
This role also requires collaboration with colleagues across various agencies within DHS. Our goal is always open dialogue which contributes positively toward achieving departmental objectives!
