We're looking for a driven Commercial Account Handler who enjoys managing commercial clients, delivering excellent service, and supporting Account Executives in a fast-paced insurance environment. This role offers the chance to develop your career while making a real impact for clients.
The RoleAs a Commercial Account Handler, you'll manage a portfolio of commercial clients, providing advice, processing renewals, and supporting Account Executives to deliver world-class service. You'll also have opportunities to identify business development prospects across various insurance products, including Professional Indemnity, Cyber, and Public Liability.
Key Responsibilities-
Maintain and develop relationships with insurers, affiliates, and other partners

Manage client queries and ensure policies and documentation meet service standards and regulatory requirements

Identify opportunities to offer additional cover and cross-sell products

Keep up-to-date with industry developments to maintain strong technical knowledge

Assist with external events, exhibitions, and other marketing initiatives as required

Support Account Executives in delivering excellent service to commercial clients

Contribute to departmental and personal financial targets through client relationship management

Experience in a commercial insurance environment, ideally with Professional Indemnity knowledge

Familiarity with Acturis is advantageous, but general SME experience will also be considered

Sales-focused approach while maintaining high standards of customer service and advice

Cert CII or significant progress towards qualification is beneficial

Strong written and spoken English, numerical skills, and attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and organisational skills

Confident with IT systems, particularly MS Office, with the ability to learn new platforms

Up to £40,000 basic salary + benefits including holiday allowance, pension, and death-in-service cover
