  • Maintain accurate and compliant administration and filing for insurer and product documentation.
  • Assist with the generation and analysis of scheme performance data, using internal systems to support underwriting insight.
  • Monitor underwriting performance, including insurer loss ratios, to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of company products, underwriting criteria, and external market developments that may impact underwriting outcomes.
  • Make consistent underwriting decisions in line with business rules, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure all underwriting activity meets regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Represent the business in a professional and confident manner at all times.
Person Specification
  • Strong understanding of processes and procedures, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality, accurate work within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Confident relationship manager, able to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to learn, develop, and challenge the status quo.
  • Strong alignment with company values and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Outstanding communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • A team player who actively contributes to wider business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Personal Lines Motor Insurance.
  • Strong experience working with bespoke and niche motor insurance risks.
  • Demonstrable understanding of motor insurance risk factors, assessed to a high technical standard.
  • Proven experience of monitoring underwriting performance, including insurer loss ratios.
