This role is for seasoned border security specialists operating at the GL-9/GS-11 level. They will collaborate with a highly trained team to safeguard America's borders, deter illicit activities, and promote national economic growth.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
• Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers near borders

The agents' duties also include analyzing information rapidly, making prompt decisions, developing informant networks, performing farm checks, building searches patrolling international boundaries using government assets like vehicles, horses etc., interpreting tracks and evidence of illegal entry.
