Border Security Officer

A border patrol agent plays a vital role in securing America's borders.

• Detects and questions individuals suspected of immigration law violations, inspecting documents and possessions for evidence of wrongdoing.
• Maintains surveillance to prevent undocumented noncitizens from entering or exiting the country at or near border checkpoints.
