Job Description
The CBPO is responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations. This includes facilitating legitimate trade and travel while preventing the entry of prohibited goods and individuals.
- Conduct inspections of individuals, conveyances, merchandise to determine admissibility; Determine individual eligibility by examining documents; Manage cargo including baggage screening inspection; interview passengers on reasons behind traveling such as work residence or just visiting relatives or friends; stop suspicious looking people from crossing international boundaries due illegal smuggling operations going down underneath everyday business transactions across different countries worldwide!
