We are seeking a skilled Customs and Border Protection Officer to join our team. As a CBPO, you will play a critical role in protecting America's borders and enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills with the ability to make rapid decisions under pressure. A background in law enforcement or related field is an asset.
A Day in the Life
You will spend your days conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances at border crossing points across Canada.
The work involves heavy physical activity requiring long periods on foot throughout the day which may include exposure to extreme temperatures; inclement weather conditions such as rain snow hail etc.; hazardous materials that can cause injuries ranging from cuts bruises burns heat exhaustion among others depending upon circumstances encountered during course performance so careful personal protective equipment use must be observed constantly!
