The Shredder Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance and general upkeep of the shredder and associated components to ensure that the shredder is fully operational, avoid unexpected downtime and ensure scheduled maintenance is completed in an effective and efficient manner. There are 4 vacancies for this position.

When
Continental Day Shift 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M
1st Week: Monday, Tuesday, Friday. Saturday, Sunday
2nd Week: Wednesday, Thursday
What we expect you to do?
Ensures the effective and efficient operation of production shredder in accordance with operational policies and procedures to meet established production targets.
Performs preventative/predictive and scheduled maintenance on production shredder and associated components based on prescribed procedures to ensure equipment does not incur unexpected downtime.
Thoroughly records all equipment deficiencies and submits all associated documentation to ensure that required maintenance is performed and production shredder meets established operational and safety standards.
Facilitates the removal of material jams and completes all general housekeeping duties to ensure production shredder functions according to operational and safety standards.
You Have
1-2 years of general labor construction experience
1-2 years of machine operating experience
