About
We require an experienced WordPress developer to properly deploy our website from Local (LocalWP) to Hostinger hosting and migrate our domain email from GoDaddy Workspace to Hostinger email.
The website is fully built and functioning locally. The issue is deployment, DNS configuration, and proper email routing.
This must be handled cleanly with minimal business disruption.
Scope of Work
1. Website Deployment
- Deploy full WordPress site from Local to Hostinger
- Import database correctly
- Perform safe URL replacement (Elementor-compatible)
- Ensure permalinks, media, themes, and plugins function correctly
- Confirm live domain loads correct version (not old dev version)
- Disable debug mode and confirm no PHP errors
2. DNS Configuration
- Configure domain correctly (A records vs nameservers)
- Ensure website points properly to Hostinger
- Activate and verify SSL
- Minimize downtime during transition
3. Email Migration (GoDaddy Workspace → Hostinger)
- Migrate all existing mailboxes
- Recreate accounts in Hostinger
- Configure MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC correctly
- Ensure no email loss
- Schedule migration during low business-impact window
- Fully test send/receive before completion
4. Testing & Handover
- Full website functionality test
- Email send/receive test
- Provide brief documentation of final DNS configuration
- Confirm stability before closing contract
Requirements
- Proven WordPress deployment experience
- Strong DNS knowledge (A records, MX, SPF, DKIM)
- Experience with GoDaddy and Hostinger
- Clear English communication
- Able to schedule migration during agreed time window
Important
This is a live small business. Email downtime must be minimized.
Migration must be:
- Planned
- Executed cleanly
- Verified before project completion
