We are looking for highly skilled and motivated Contracted Workers to join our team. As a Contracted Worker, you will play a crucial role in our organization, providing your expertise and contributing to our projects. Unlike our internal employees, Contracted Workers will have more flexibility in their work hours, as long as they meet the deadlines for their assigned tasks. 

Job Summary

This position requires strong video filming and editing skills, creative acumen, and excellent project and file  management capabilities. The Contract Videographer and  Editor will be accountable for producing videos that align with the brand standards, all while collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams.

Functions

Video Production and Creation for Internal Marketing Needs 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Setting up camera equipment and gear for video shoots to create visually appealing scenes.
  • Taking care of filming equipment during setup and takedown and communicating with other members of the creative team when cleanings or repairs need to happen.
  • Edit raw video footage into professional, high-quality deliverables optimized for digital platforms (e.g., YouTube, Meta, Google Display, LinkedIn).
  • Add motion graphics, titles, captions, transitions, and effects where appropriate.
  • Adapt edits for various formats (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, etc.) while maintaining visual consistency.
  • Deliver edits on agreed timelines, incorporating feedback quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are consistently applied across all video assets.
  • Maintain well-structured project files and provide clean working file deliverables for future use.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 2–5 years of video editing experience minimum
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong creative and technical skills in video editing
  • Strong creative skills, with graphic design and photography experience, considered a major asset
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage stress effectively
  • Outstanding time management and organizational abilities
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite including After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Must provide a portfolio showcasing diverse video projects
  • Continuously stay abreast of marketing and social media trends and best practices to ensure the company is ahead of the curve
