The Opportunity

Build the Future With Us — As a Project Manager / Land Development Engineer based in Winnipeg, you will shape the infrastructure that fuels growth in one of the most dynamic regions of the Prairies. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams as they plan and deliver water, wastewater, drainage, transportation, and land development projects that bring resilient, people‑centered communities to life across Manitoba.

Your Impact

  • Lead planning, design, modelling, and execution of municipal servicing and land development projects for public‑ and private‑sector clients.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams through all stages—from concept and feasibility to detailed design and construction support.
  • Build and deepen client relationships, acting as a key technical advisor throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Guide project approvals by collaborating with municipal authorities, utilities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, risks, and quality to ensure predictable, successful delivery.
  • Conduct site reviews, coordinate with contractors, and provide construction‑phase engineering input.
  • Mentor intermediate and junior engineers and technologists, contributing to a strong, collaborative Manitoba team.
  • Support proposal development, fee estimates, scope definition, and pursuit strategy to drive growth in the region.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in land development and municipal infrastructure engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and active P.Eng. registration (or eligibility) in Manitoba.
  • Proven success managing complex land development or municipal servicing projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Manitoba municipal processes, approval pathways, and servicing standards.
  • Technical experience in water, sanitary, stormwater, roadway, and site‑servicing design.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and managing client expectations.
  • PMP certification is considered an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence and ability to support construction‑phase activities.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 – $124,900
