  • What You'll Do

  • Processes the sale of daily and annual parking passes. 
  • Reports any discrepancies to the Manager or Supervisor. 
  • Operates a POS system to enter transactions, and contacts Supervisor for non-routine transactions. 
  • Follows established policies and procedures regarding money handling to protect against counterfeit bills. 
  • Assists in monitoring and reducing shrinkage. 
  • Audit/balance cash register at the end of the day. 
  • Secure workstations at the end of shift. 
  • Opens/closes location. 
  • Required to work weekends, shift work, and holidays. 
  • Providing knowledge of Niagara Parks attractions and passes, venues including hours of operation, bus routes, accessibility. 
  • Provide guests with information, make suggestions, and give directions. 
  • Complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, First Aid, and established policies and procedures. 
  • Provides guests with information regarding all Niagara Parks Attractions. 
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism with guests. 
  • Promotes a positive image of the Niagara Parks Commission. 
  • Provides quality customer service that meets NPC standards; refers all concerns to Supervisor. 
  • Assists with various organization and cleaning duties. 
  • What You'll Bring

  • No formal education required. Demonstrated knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Previous cash experience is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures; interpersonal and communication skills, customer service skills; knowledge of NPC facilities and services. 
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and methods, basic math skills; knowledge of relevant health and safety procedures. 
  • Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
