  YOU LOVE TO :

  • Perform deliveries of company equipment and/or machinery.
  • Transfer equipment and/or machinery from one branch to another.
  • Always comply with all applicable regulations and laws when operating the truck.

TASK OVERVIEW:

  • Transport and deliver company equipment and/or machinery for all our branches, from customers and suppliers.
  • Obtain required signatures and receipts upon delivery.
  • Maintain a daily electronic logbook and fuel report (IFTA fuel tax).
  • Keep vehicles and trailers in good condition and report any repair requests to the dispatcher.
  • Keep the truck and trailer clean by regularly washing the truck.
  • Perform any other related tasks as assigned.

  YOU HAVE IDEALLY :

  • Must hold a valid Class 1 driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Must be bilingual (English and French).
  • Must be very familiar with the safe loading and unloading of equipment.
  • Must be knowledgeable about equipment transportation safety standards, including:
    • Load and dimension regulations
    • Pre-trip inspection (safety inspection)
    • Daily logbook requirements
    • Law 430
  • Strong verbal communication skills with customers.
  • Reliability and respect are key personality traits sought.
  • Minimum of 1 year of on-road experience with flatbed, step deck, or detachable lowboy trailers.
